Voodoo Lounge Vegas - View the Vegas Strip from the 51st Story

By VegasNightClubVIP.com

On the 51st story of the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas resides the Voodoo Lounge. You can sense the hustle and bustle of the casino action as you approach the Masquerade Village area of the Rio. This is the area of the hotel where you will discover the elevator entrance to the Voodoo Lounge.

As a result of the Voodoo Lounge being one of the more famous lounges in Las Vegas a waiting line normally forms to takr the elevator up to the top floor of the Rio hotel tower. To avoid the line just flash a Las Vegas VIP club or line pass and you can enter the elevator immediately without a wait.

However, if you have to wait in line you can glance at the menu of the Voodoo Steak restaurant which is posted on the walls beside the elevator entrance. The Voodoo Steak is just one story underneath the lounge on the 50th story. The interior portion of the Voodoo Lounge can be accessed through the Voodoo Steak by a grand staircase which joins the 50th and 51st floor of the tower.

The elevator actually ascends up the building on the outside and has a large glass window from which you can get a panorama view of the South end of the Las Vegas Strip as you make your accent. The elevator ride itself is a lively time especially if you are with a good group.

After you exit the elevator you begin a short stroll down a black light hallway that is lined with wall art which resembles that of voodoo folklore. Once inside the club the candled themed decor gives a sense that voodoo magic is being performed by the bartenders as they concoct their potions before delivering them to the guests.

On of the main features inside the Voodoo Lounge is the stage where live bands perform. A designated dance floor is not sectioned off inside the lounge. However, most ordinarily make due with whatever space is available. There is even a stripper pole used as part of the decor.

However, the outdoor deck area of the lounge is where the voodoo magic begins. First there is a magnificent view of the entire Las Vegas Strip and at night it is breathtaking. You can pull up a VIP couch and a nice cocktail then just make yourself at home and take in the views. The outdoor area of the Voodoo Lounge Rio has a bar and a DJ spinning top 40 or hip-hop to keep things moving.

The club is not dominated by any particular age group and anyone can visit without feeling out of place or awkward. If you are searching for an excellent location to unwind and have a couple voodoo magic potions the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio is the perfect ticket. - 15615
