Youtube Video Marketing

By Scott S.

This is a little guide I threw together after a few moments of pondering over some of the current blackhat video marketing techniques. In case you haven't heard of them, they include downloading and reuploading videos with url's to your blog/parked page/cpa offers in the description, or watermarked on the video. None of that is really too blackhat though, and neither is this method in fact I'm pretty sure this is something more professional bloggers would do than spammy blackhat kids. This method isn't new at all, but I'm sure some could find it useful.

Step 1) Write an article and then post it to your blog. (You could just post the video you make, but that's not good for SEO purposes).

Try posts like; how to decontaminate your toilet, how to stop old dogs from peeing everywhere, how to find a mate fast, or something similar (less stupid) to that.

Of course you'll want to cover your blog with ads and affiliate links (don't make it ugly). Or if you're promoting a landing page then you don't really have to do anything :D.

2. Video tape yourself, or your computer as you complete the task you wrote about in For this article, I would basically just read off of this page into my microphone, and have me scrolling up and down the page frantically as if to make the video interesting. Or to make things interesting I could go to Azoogle Ads, or some other affiliate network and show you the sign up process.

To video tape your screen you could use hypercam, camtasia, camstudio, fraps, or etc

3. When you're finished with your video, open it in your video editing software. I usually just use windows movie maker, the video editing process is not very complicated.

4. If you want, and you haven't already than you can narrate your video now. I usually just read my articles as I go through the video in windows movie maker. Obviously you shouldn't read parts of the article that say things like, "click here to get a free ipod" since you can't give people links in videos. However, you can add annotations with urls, or add urls in the description of your videos.

5. Add a watermark to your video, with the url of your website. This way, if it's shared on other websites then there will always be the url of your website for everyone to see. When you upload your videos to youtube, you can include direct links to your website/blog post telling people that they could read more about it.

6. Now is when you decide whether or not to promote your videos with blackhat methods. Depending on the quality of your videos, blackhat might be the only way to get a good view count.

This is an easy way to get lot's of visitors to your site or affiliate landing page with just a little bit of work. If you keep at it you could be getting thousands of visitors to your site each day without any problems. - 15615
