Flirting Tips For Men

By Charlie Reese

I used to have this problem. I did not know how to flirt with a girl at all. Don't get me wrong " I had girlfriends. The real problem was that they all started out as friends, or friends of friends. If things did not work out, it would make everything really awkward in my social circle. I had no idea how to pick up girls in bars " or anywhere else for that matter.

One day, I decided to try to change all that. I picked up one of those books of flirting tips for men and started to look through it. I got it in the library and, naturally, it was just a bit dated. It was from the mid 1970s and so a lot of the flirting tips for men did not apply to this day and age. After all, people change a lot from decade to decade.

Nonetheless, a lot of the men's flirting tips in the book were still relevant. I was actually quite surprised by how much of what I was reading was directly applicable to today's dating scene. Although gender roles change, women still respect men who project an aura of confidence, for example. Although pickup lines and complements change, girls still respect you making the effort to make them feel good about themselves.

Asa soon as I finished reading that book, I started looking for a newer, more relevant flirting tips for men guide. I looked at a lot of different sources, including NLP books, psychological articles, and stuff from motivational speakers of all stripes. Every book had a different collection of tips, but a lot of them looked like they might be worth trying out.

As it turns out, different flirting tips for men work well for different people. Some guys naturally do better with a more mellow approach, while some like to be persistent. Some folks like to use lines, while others sort of jump in to someone else's conversation. The great thing about book of flirting tips for men is that they give you a lot of ideas to try out. If one approach does not help you pick up women, you can always go ahead and try something else. It does not matter, so long as you relax and try to enjoy yourself. It is all about being young and having fun, after all, no matter who you meet. - 15615
