How To View And Download Movies

By Sherry Pies

With new and old movies popping up all over the internet and all the software sharing programs, the question is; which is better? Downloaded or streaming movies. Both types of files have their perks and downfalls. It is important to examine them before you decide to sit down and watch your internet flick.

There are several generic video players to choose from. Windows Media Player is an excellent default video player but because there are so many formats, I would suggest downloading a second one. QuickTime is another option because it allows viewing of various Mac files.

One plus to downloading would be the ability to burn the movie file onto a blank CDR and watch it on right on your television. There are many DVD players that play burnt discs and many that do not. It is worth looking into because it is nice to watch movies on your computer but it is nicer to watch them on your TV.

It would make more sense to download a free conversion program. These programs are designed to reformat movie files into more generic types. This will free you up from having several video players on your hard drive and open up more space for downloads.

It takes roughly twenty minutes to get the movie onto your computer. It will stay there as long as you do not open it. Once you open it, you have twenty-four hours with the file on your computer.

If you are looking to put your downloaded movie onto your Ipod and PSP then you will need a converter for that as well. Having a multifaceted converter can really save you a lot of time in effort when trying to watch a movie. If you find a good converter, familiarize yourself with it because it should be all you need.

Streaming movies are great in many ways. It is nice to click on a movie and be watching it in seconds. You can often find websites with hundreds of new movies and cult classics. Streaming movies allows you to have a large selection without taking up memory on your computer.

Streaming movies can also be sampled before you spend time watching it. By having a feed, you can skip through the movie to see if it is something worthwhile before you start it. It is a nice feature when you are on a fence about watching a certain movie.

It really helps a great bit to get the downloaded movie from the internet onto your TV. It is all worth the investment if you have the right stuff to play it. There is one area that I have seen more people run into trouble with burning download movies.

Movie files are large and are streaming to your computer. It is crucial that you have a fast and strong internet connection. If you do not, then your computer will be buffering every couple seconds.

Most movies on the site cost $1.99. While they may be more expensive than the free ones, it is also way better. If you are a person who is into quality and looking to not go out, then you should consider going to Amazon instead of going to the free movie sites. - 15615
